Mijenajm igru project aims to gather a group of YouTube content creators in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the surrounding region who are willing to address issues like extremism, hate crime, radicalization, and disinformation in a professional and responsible manner. The project developed for the Delegation of the European Union in Sarajevo empowers these creators to engage in online and offline communication activities that utilize technology and a deep understanding of their communities to produce content that pushes back against polarizing, inflammatory, and radicalizing discourse. The creators’ capacity and commitment to push back against this type of discourse have strengthened through formal training and mentoring support, which included factual knowledge about media and information literacy and practical training tools like exercises and teaching aids.
